JUDr. Adam Felix, LL.M., Ph.D. is a general legal practitioner with an emphasis on criminal law, ICT law, GDPR, cybersecurity and privacy, cryptocurrencies, and dispute resolution.
Adam Felix also represents clients in civil litigations and criminal proceedings. In recent years, he has also been involved in the implementation of data protection standards in major private and public organizations, including multinational corporations and public universities.
Early in his practice, Adam Felix, LL.M., Ph.D., worked in general courts, prosecutorial offices and foreign law firms in New York City, Washington D.C. and Paris. He received his doctorate from Charles University on the topic of criminal liability of legal entities. He was the first Czech admitted to Cornell Tech’s pilot Master of Laws (LLM) in Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship program, where he focused on the development of blockchain technology for sharing patient health data, the development of telemedicine, and the application of emotion recognition algorithms to develop compensatory aids for children on the autism spectrum. He first worked as an attorney at PRK Partners in Prague and has been a member of Felix a spol. law firm since 2016. Adam is a member of the Revision Board and a disciplinary prosecutor of the Czech Bar Association. He is a member of the Supervisory Council and an intervening disciplinary petitioner of the Czech Bar Association.
