Moot Court of Criminal Law 2025

Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, saw the final of the Moot Court in Criminal Law at the Felix a spol. law firm. As in previous years, we organized this student competition in collaboration with the Všehrd Student Association.

Law students had the opportunity to experience a simulated court hearing and demonstrate their reasoning and analytical skills in front of an expert jury. The hearing was chaired by Mgr. Jan Vaníček, judge of the District Court for Prague 9.

Felix a spol. attorneys JUDr. Adam Felix, LL.M., Ph.D., and Mgr. Michaela Prodělalová, prepared the Moot Court and carried out the evaluation of the participants, while also providing expert feedback to the students.

Three teams advanced to the finals and their performances were quite even. The jury appreciated their careful preparation and their ability to respond to procedural issues as they came up. The teams received valuable prizes during a ceremony attended by the president of the Všehrd association, Artur Koliev.

The students were also offered the opportunity to take part in professional internships at Felix a spol., during which they could get to know the daily workings of the office and the practical side of the legal profession under the guidance of experienced lawyers.

2nd place: Jaroslav Prais

3rd place: Chiara Doanová and Petr Herold
