Nomos Annual Meeting in Berlin

The annual meeting of the members of NOMOS Lawyers International, a European network of law firms, took place in Berlin from December 5th to 7th, 2024. Representing Felix a spol. were attorney and partner Eva Veselá and marketing and communications specialist Martina Vránková.

This year’s meeting was hosted by KUZAJ WITTMANN & PARTNER from Düsseldorf. In Berlin, the host was represented by partner Thomas Löwer, who ensured the event ran exceptionally well.

The meeting was attended by a total of 10 representatives from member law firms in the Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, Norway and France.

The agenda included sharing of information on current developments at member law firms, a report on the financial affairs of the network, and a discussion on key topics such as the future growth of the network and collaboration between members, as well as the use of new technologies in legal practice.

Two presentations attracted particular interest: An external guest, Tobias Pusch, from the consultancy firm Pusch Wahlig Workplace Law, presented several applications for HR or employment law matters, and Anna Mokvist from the Swedish law firm Terra Advokat AB presented an emerging AI tool for the creation of legal documents.

In addition to the professional aspects of the meeting, the sideline cultural and gastronomic events added considerable value. The comfortable facilities of the event as well as the Advent atmosphere of Berlin contributed to the overall very pleasant course of this year’s annual meeting.

“The meeting was both professionally beneficial and enjoyable thanks to its excellent organization and the interesting accompanying programs. Touching base with colleagues from abroad is always enriching and personal meetings with them facilitate our collaboration on legal cases in the future,” said Eva Veselá.
