Inheritance Law
We represent heirs on the basis of a power of attorney in inheritance proceedings before the court, or in dealings with a notary who acts as a court commissioner in the settlement of inheritance.
Inheritance law is a set of legal rules governing the transfer of rights and obligations of a deceased person to their legal successor. However, not all the rights and obligations of a deceased person are transferred to their legal successors by inheritance. There are rights or obligations which cease upon death, and for some rights and obligations a special regime of legal succession is established (e.g. the right to rent a flat). Under the law, the transfer of the deceased person’s property to their heirs is subject to certain conditions. These include, in addition to the death of the decedent, the existence of an inheritance, a succession title and an eligible heir.
We offer our clients representation in complex inheritance cases and, in cooperation with a notary, we assist in drafting of a will according to the clients’ wishes. In addition, we advise our clients on the type of inheritance instrument that best suits them.
We are ready to represent you in every matter.
